Blog Identity
We wanted our blog to have a strong identity which linked to the previous material we had produced. We made a header from the same graphics we used on the poster and clothes labels. I think this looks really effective and starts to build a company identity.

Business Plan
1. an over view of the event- including current market
2. why is it a credible idea
3. who is customer
4. cost to set up/cost to customer
5. where it will be held
6. how it is publicised
7. how would we develop this idea further
1. A clothes swap, taking place at University where students can bring garments to swap with each other free of charge
2. We think this is a credible idea because; as students we don't have a lot of money, but are all interested in fashion.
We have a culture of borrowing from one another and think we could make this into a regular event.
We have a culture of borrowing from one another and think we could make this into a regular event.
3. Our customer is students who don't want to spend money on clothes when they have so many laying around they don't use.
4. The total cost is about £7 pounds each, Total £21.
The customer only pays if they want something and they did not bring any garments to swap. £1 a garment.
5. It is being held at Blehiem Street Gallery on Friday 24th May.
6. It will be publicised through Facebook, posters, flyers and emails sent out to the whole college.
7. Setting up regular events, perhaps some kind of online feature (similar to an ASOS marketplace)
Putting up our posters
After we had made our poster which we used on the email we also wanted to put some up around uni so people would see them more often. We focused on putting them around fashion and textiles as we knew there would be lots of people interested around these areas. We also put them in communal areas such as the canteen and the hallways.

Emails with Debra
We went to see Debra about sending out a email to the whole college about our Clothes Swap event. She told us to send her a draft of the email and she would attach the contacts for us. We decided to put our poster as the main part of the email with some brief information in the main body!

Emails from Andrew, Head of Health and Safety
One really important thing for us to finalise was the health and safety for our clothes swap event. On the 20/05 we went to visit Andrew in health and safety to find out what we needed to do to ensure we adhered to health and safety. Andre emailed us a floor plan and risk assessment form to fill in and talked us through what we needed to cover.

Our Poster and Labels
We used the website Lost Type to download some fonts which we liked for the poster.
We decided on two type faces, one which is a stamp effect "stamping" and another retro style called "lavenderia"

How to get feedback?
We want to put a big piece of paper on the wall and have crayons in jars so people can leave their comments and thoughts on our clothes swap in an artistic and fun way.
Plus the jars of crayons can be used as a decorative piece as well.

Playing Card Tokens
In-keeping with our retro, glamour theme we have purchased some amazing playing cards to use as our "tokens". We thought this would be an exciting way to make it fun and as a little keepsake.
